Amandine’s research explores how the cognitive processes of public officials, both elected politicians and public managers, shape their engagement with evidence. The goal is to enhance public service delivery.

Adopting an interdisciplinary approach, Amandine integrates theories and methods from political science, psychology, and public administration. She addresses urgent challenges such as sustainability and digitalisation. Through experimental methods, including discrete choice experiments, eye-tracking, and factorial designs, Amandine demonstrates how cognitive limitations among elite decision-makers can impede effective responses to public service failures. Her work offers insights for both research and practice.
