In collaboration with the SSH-council, we introduce the first edition of NWO SHIFT: Social Sciences and Humanities for Innovative and Fair Transformations. At this conference, we will explore how science can help us navigate in an increasingly complex and unpredictable world.
NWO SHIFT is a transdisciplinary conference that places societal challenges at its centre. Digitalisation, the energy transition, healthcare challenges and societal tensions are currently intertwined, with implications for policy, innovation and our society. We connect the social sciences & humanities with other scientific domains, businesses, civil society organisations and policymakers, in search of shared action perspectives.
This year’s theme is Attention: a scarce force that determines which solutions are given room to grow and shape society.
The conference offers ample space to meet and build meaningful connections with inspiring people and organisations.
